Lake to Lake Events Inc. is pleased to announce a brand new route for the 14th annual Lake to Lake Event, taking place on Sunday June 17th, 2012. This new and more action packed course will span from Lake Gibson at Brock University, running just under 29 kilometers to beautiful Charles Daley Park on the shores of Lake Ontario. Thus the new name is the “Giant Bicycles Lake to Lake 29er Challenge”.
Lake to Lake Events have always been about creating fun for the whole family and this tradition will continue for 2012 with several key improvements. For our young participants or those new to Mountain biking, the “The Great Wolf Lodge Pond to Pond Challenge” is the perfect launch pad for the more difficult Lake to Lake event. This 16 km secret course will be a father’s day treat with several thousand participants and spectators cheering on our young athletes.
The Lake to Lake Mountain bike Expo will have retailers and industry experts on hand to display and demo the latest bike related merchandise, events and services.
With a more exciting course, improved safety, easy parking, post ride BBQ, and Expo event, as well as tons of prizes to give away, this is Canada’s premier mountain bike event that everyone will be talking about.

Important Note: Due to the short driving distance from Brock University to Charles Daley Park, we have decided to eliminate the shuttle transportation option of bikes and riders. Please be sure to make your own arrangements. Also we have eliminated the corporate group categories due to diminishing interest.
